Catherine Evans Latta grew up in New York City and is a graduate of Cornell University and the American University of Beirut. She later studied at Stanford with poet Denise Levertov and author Nancy Packer. Catherine’s poems have been published in The Beloit Poetry Journal, Sequoia, Fresh Hot Bread, and The Daily Star. She is founder of the Boothbay Harbor One Design Association that provides sailing scholarships for children in Maine. She splits her year between California and Maine and is working on a series of short stories set in Maine and another collection of poems. You can read more about Catherine at her blog.
